La Estrella is a newer calabaza squash in the pumpkin family.
This is a tan skinned, orange flesh squash that is very versatile.
They are larger, 6- 10 pounds, and work well for putting up in storage or the freezer.
We have anout 20 of them and they are a good deal at $.79 per pound.
